KEY INFORMATION

DAY 1 – Arrival in Lisbon & Welcome Walk

Arrive in Lisbon and make your way to our base: a stylish, central hotel in the heart of Chiado. Settle in, relax, and wander Lisbon’s cobbled streets or enjoy a drink in the garden terrace. In the evening, meet your Esploro Travel trip leader and fellow travelers for a welcome drink before heading out for a short city walk through Bairro Alto, ending with dinner at a traditional Portuguese restaurant (dinner not included).

DAY 2 – Surf & Sunset Yoga

After breakfast, we head west to Costa da Caparica, Lisbon’s local surf haven, for our first surf lesson. Certified instructors will guide you through the basics and help you catch your first Atlantic waves. Return to the city by mid-afternoon and unwind before our rooftop yoga session at sunset: the perfect balance between salt, flow, and skyline.

DAY 3 – Surf & Alfama by Tram

Morning brings another surf session at Costa da Caparica, building confidence and flow in the waves. In the afternoon, we switch tempo and explore Lisbon’s soul: board the iconic Tram 28 for a journey through Alfama’s narrow streets and colorful viewpoints. The evening is free to enjoy Lisbon’s food scene or join the group for a casual dinner.

DAY 4 – Surf, Sweet Traditions & Sunset Sail

By now, the ocean feels like home. After our final surf lesson, it’s time to taste another Portuguese classic: a hands-on Pastel de Nata baking class. We close the trip with a private sunset sail on the Tagus River — a perfect farewell, with Lisbon’s skyline glowing gold as we toast to new friendships and perfect waves.

DAY 5 – Breakfast & Goodbyes

A relaxed final breakfast before departure. Depending on your flight time, enjoy one last espresso or morning stroll through Chiado before making your way to the airport, or continue exploring Portugal’s coast on your own.

Fly into Lisbon International Airport (LIS), Portugal’s main hub, served by direct flights from all over Europe and major international connections. Our meeting point is in Chiado, Lisbon’s historic center, just 25 minutes from the airport by taxi or rideshare. Airport transfers are not included, but we’ll provide clear arrival instructions and support to make your check-in smooth. All daily surf and activity transfers are arranged for you: just show up with your boardshorts and a sense of adventure.
