Travel & Safety
Q: Is Morocco safe for women travelers?
A: Yes, Morocco is generally safe, including for solo women travelers. As always, it’s wise to follow basic precautions and be respectful of local customs. In and around our surf house, the surf culture is laid-back and welcoming.
Q: Do I need a visa to travel to Morocco?
A: Most European, North American, and many other passport holders can enter Morocco visa-free for up to 90 days. Please double-check the requirements for your nationality before travel.
Q: Do I need any vaccinations?
A: No special vaccinations are required to enter Morocco. We recommend ensuring that routine vaccines (like tetanus and hepatitis A) are up to date. Consult your doctor if you’re unsure.
Q: Is tap water safe to drink?
A: We recommend drinking bottled or filtered water. Tap water is generally safe for brushing your teeth, but stick to bottled water for drinking and be cautious with ice in drinks.
Money & Practicalities
Q: What currency is used in Morocco?
A: The local currency is the Moroccan Dirham (MAD). It’s a closed currency, so you’ll need to exchange money after arrival. Make sure to use any leftover cash before leaving the country.
Q: How do I exchange money?
A: We recommend exchanging currency at the airport upon arrival, where rates are generally favorable. ATMs are also available nearby. Most shops in the area accept cash only, so it's helpful to carry some with you. We’re happy to assist once you arrive at the surf house.
Q: Is there internet access?
A: Yes, the surf house offers Wi-Fi for guests. Keep in mind it may be slower than in large cities — a good excuse to disconnect.
Getting There
Q: How do I get to your surf house?
A: You can fly into Rabat or Casablanca. We’ll organize your transfer to the surf house: it’s included in the price if you arrive at Rabat. From Casablanca, there's a small supplement (€40 per vehicle, each way).
Q: Can I extend my stay or arrive earlier?
A: Absolutely. We’re happy to help you organize extra nights at or stays in Rabat or Casablanca before or after the retreat.
Surf, Yoga & Activities
Q: Do I need to be an experienced surfer?
A: Not at all! This retreat is open to all levels. Whether you're just starting or looking to refine your technique, our coaching is adapted to your needs, with a focus on progress, not performance.
Q: What kind of surfboards and wetsuits are available?
A: A wide range of boards are available (soft tops, shortboards, mid-lengths). Wetsuits are also provided. However, if you have a favorite board or suit, feel free to bring your own.
Q: How many surf sessions are included?
A: One coached surf session per day is included, plus optional free surf time. You’ll also get a surfskate lesson, daily transport to spots, and video analysis sessions.
Q: What else is included?
A: The trip includes full-board accommodation, 3 yoga sessions, a surf mindset masterclass, an ice bath experience, a traditional hammam visit, a cultural visit to Rabat, and 3 days of photo/video content of your surf.

Q: What’s not included in the package?
A: Optional activities such as horseback riding on the beach, surf foil lessons, muay thai, boat fishing, acupuncture, cooking and Darija (local dialect) classes, climbing, and surf fitness are available onsite and can be booked à la carte.
